I started this blog back in early 2013, when I struggled to find information online or resources to help me to understand that life is still livable as a young female with an ostomy, so I knew I wasn't alone and I decided to share my journey and helpful blog posts to help others in a similar situation.

I have had so many people tell me my blog has changed their lives, or that without my blog they don't know how they would have coped. I believe I had one mission in my life and that was to help others and I know I am doing that.

I write this blog because I want to help others. I don't get paid to write, and while I have had some opportunities in the past where I have been paid to write a sponsored blog post or have advertising on my site, this isn't always the case. There are costs involved in running this blog such as hosting fees and SEO support, and while I know I am helping others and my blog has been used for research purposes by international universities, it would be appreciated to have a little help.

I ask (if you feel inclined to) that if my blog or my writing has helped you or made a difference in your life, please consider treating me to lunch or a mango smoothie by clicking through to my paypal.me account. I am mostly housebound so being able to go out for a nice treat would really help make my day that little bit brighter. Would also help me to feel appreciated too.
